noun
1. the science or practice of the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.

Compassionate.
Knowledgeable.
Experienced.

I hold a Doctorate degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. I practice complementary medicine and magic. I have taught as a professor, lecturer and workshop facilitator, and within institutions, i.e. De Anza College’s Kinesiology Department, University of California, San Francisco, University of California, Berkeley, and Kaiser Hospital.

My patients come from diverse, personal and professional backgrounds, and whether we work together in my private practice or in a clinical setting, my patients experience a safe environment which provides relaxation and healing. I recognize that injuries often have their origins in a variety of sources: physical, psychological, or spiritual. My concern is the overall healthcare of my patients, and I use a whole-person diagnostic approach to identify total health solutions.

I am deeply influenced by my extensive formal studies and fieldwork. In turn, I combine various modalities and techniques: Daoism, Chinese medicine, Herbal medicine, Massage, Breath-work, manual and Meridian Therapy, Yoga, Qi Gong, Shamanism, and a Sacred Feminine/ Yin approach, to address the immediate needs of my patients. I create healing plans that bring relief to current pain and address root causes.
